Cool

JoJo DID NOT say they have no political views. He said they TRY not to but that it was getting harder and harder with everything that is happening. Straight from the link left on a previous post. I'm not "ASSUMING" anything, but YOU ALL did. EVERYONE of you posted something against me, when all I did was express an opinion. A view that saddened me greatly. I have that right. I didn't go bashing any of you. Although some of you cannot spell. They are scheduled well into the rest of the year, and have yet to schedule Arizona. How stupid does one have to be? Maybe they'll be back next year, maybe not. Does it really matter? Regardless of my opinion or your bashing of me, it isn't going to change anything. They'll keep playing like they always have. And just because someone claiming to be an part of their administration says they'll be here "soon" does not make it so. As proven so far. It also doesn't mean I am no longer a fan. But I know people that believed their music to be true to heart and they are more upset than I or any of you. I don't bash them for their opinion. You all need to allow other to express themselves and let it go at that. Why you all took it so personal is beyond me. Throwing accusations or assumptions at me or about me when you don't know me, is ignorance. Plain and simple.

My point is that regardless of if they have political views for or against this, it doesn't mean that they are participating in a boycott. They haven't scheduled Hawaii, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee... there are a bunch of states that they haven't scheduled or been to in a long time. They are participating on this compilation CD with those who are actively participating in a boycott of Arizona, but it doesn't mean that they are. They have someone who does booking for them. Whether that person is active in a boycott or not I have no idea. Either way, it's unfair for you to spit vitriol against LLB because they may or may not have political views that support a boycott. I have my own political views, but that doesn't mean I am actively going to boycott one thing or another because of it. It is not someone on here who is CLAIMING to be part of their administration it IS someone who is part of their administration. No assuming involved.

Absolutely NO ONE on here is saying that you can't express your opinion, it's just that nobody on here has expressed that they have agreed with you. Another part of having free speech is realizing that not everyone is going to share your opinion. So rather than getting upset and making comments about the way that people spell, you can accept the fact that you aren't being 'bashed'. All that anyone here has done is disprove the reasons why you say LLB is boycotting AZ. I'm not sure if it's because you already have it set in your mind that they are or what but no one has personally attacked you. So instead of having a rebuttal to what any of us have said, you're going to go on a rant about having free speech.

This entire time, all you have been doing is criticizing LLB for "boycotting" AZ. (Which they are NOT) So one way or the other, why don't YOU respect LLB and let them express themselves whichever way they choose? Boycott or no boycott. It's great that you have such passion about this and that you want to see them so badly, but I think at this point you already have your mind set. I am sorry that you feel disappointed that they haven't scheduled Arizona yet and that you think this is the reason, but it's simply not true. Until they say themselves that they are, then I am right in saying that you are assuming that they are boycotting. It doesn't matter if it's likely or "how stupid" one has to be. Rizack is hired by LLB and he is the one who passes this type of information on to us. If he says that they are not boycotting, then that is what the truth is. Whether you choose to say otherwise and call him a liar is your choice.

Red face

I'm not judging anyone. I may enjoy their music, and I am sad that they have yet to schedule for the state of Arizona, but my life doesn't revolve around LLB. Ozomatli is boycotting this state and yet it's not like I have removed their music from my ipod. Like I said, if they book Arizona they do, if they don't then life goes on. All of you believe they are not boycotting and that's fine. They may or may not be. It doesn't really matter. Whether they are participating on a CD with artists who are boycotting ... but claim they themselves aren't, is neither here nor there. The simple fact is that they, after so many years of coming to Arizona, and they coincidentally aren't, saddens me. I never placed judgment on all of you who do not share my view. I did feel attacked at the time I read all the responses, but to be honest, I had totally forgotten about this forum and that I had even written anything. You don't know me, so you cannot claim to know what I have my mind set on or not. Or why. And you can continue to pull quotes from my posts, if you so choose. My life goes on, whether they book here or not. I enjoy their concerts immensely and am saddened that I, more than likely, will not see one this year. So I save $150 this year. Hopefully they will find their way back here. Nonetheless, I will continue to listen to their music as I will Ozo and several other artists who do not come here. I wish you all the best and, even though I may have felt attacked, you are correct. I was in the wrong in feeling that way. You have the right to express your views just as much as I do. Again, I wish you all the best and my you all enjoy an LLB concert this year. Ciao.

Thank you Cre8tivepoet for being so nice. You are the ONLY one who has been. It's all just too coincidental, you know? They came to Mesa but that was BEFORE that immigration law and all those groups boycotting us. The fans didn't vote that law in. They fail to see that. For I don't know how many years they come here right after Viejas Casino in Alpine, CA. Then it comes out they're participating on a CD with other artists that are boycotting us, and these people try to make it seem like they're clueless about it.. If they didn't believe in the cause, they wouldn't participate at all. But thank you for your kind words. I was beginning to think everyone was going to bag on me. Ah, let them, que no? No tienen mas que acer. Hope you get to see them soon too.
