I've had a dreadful few weeks, but after the rain , the sun shines

I have a new dog. And I'm in love.
He is a 12 week old boxer and was free( my kinda price) because he is white. White boxers aren't accepted in the show ring.
Bah humbug, I don't care. I think he's gorgeous. He is so smart , he's going to be fun to train.

His name was inspired by the full moon....I haven't slept much since the tornado.

I toyed with the name Henry (and Bono or Jono).
I took Monty to the vet yesterday and a man came in with a huge red coloured doberman that was the guard dog of the year.
His name was Henry :)

Silly me, maybe, maybe not. I think we were meant for each other.. Monty John is profoundly deaf. 20% chance with white boxers. Just makes it an extra challenge to train him, but he's safe here ( no cars) and I have the time and patience ( I hope). He is gorgeous. So gentle and friendly and cuddly. I am teaching him basic sign language, one I've designed myself. I cross my arms across my chest to indicate "cuddle". Had to add that one after "come "no" "sit" "stay". "Good boy" is a big smile and thumbs up. He knows that one.
He is 4 times the size of my chihuahuas already. Mindy and Rose groom him and play silly games with him. Tambo just wants him to keep his distance and Mojo is a bit jealous but also curious in a "I'm pretending I don't care kinda older cool brother way". Mojo is Tambo's son and he is the good beautiful dog i envisaged he would be.

Oh my goodness! He's adorable!! I have two Pembroke Welsh Corgis and I just love them to death! I don't know what I'd do without my babies! Yoshi, he's a year old and Zelda, she's almost two.
