It was fantabulous....not sure how stylish it was there towards the end :p
My usual list of suspects came around for a celebratory lunch. You know, serve the meal in style then hit the champers, too much cake and chocolate.
Then to help everyone relax and regain their decorum before returning to families I put on the Los Lonely Boys in Austin DVD.
All my favourite things.
So thank you my LLB loving friends for your kindness and your love.


May as well talk about it here as there is "aussie" in the thread title.
I know a lot of you love your football too.
I've told you how much my daughter-in-law loves the Melbourne Storm rugby league team. We have so much fun around Grand Final time. She goes gaga. Dressed head to toe in Storm purple garb, her car has Storm license plates...she even has a lightning bolt tattooed on her arm for goodness sake, their team logo. They have won 2 major and three minor premierships in the past years.
Yesterday the club were exposed for deliberately breaching the salary cap. They are being called cheats. They have been stripped of their premierships, they will get no points this season, they have to pay back 2million$$ in prize money and fines. How disappointing, how embarrassing. It's a huge scandal here at the moment. Poor DIL, she is really going to cop a lot of flack over this. Everyone knows how much she loves the Storm. I'm not THAT into RL
(I prefer soccer) but I appreciate DILs enthusiasm and feel sorry for her.

That said....I'm stealing her fiance this weekend. It is the ANZAC day long weekend in Australia. My eldest son is coming home ( a rare thing) I love his company. Also hub's 3 piece band ( he's in 3 bands at the moment) are playing in town on Saturday night. I have been trying to get the 3 girls to hear them for ages. So that's the birthday wish I made. That the girls come out on Saturday night.
