LLB Cancels Tour Dates!

Hey everyone, some sad news came in today :(

Here is the official announcement:

Physicians at the Colorado Voice Clinic recommended Los Lonely Boys bassist Jojo Garza discontinue the use of his voice after discovering lesions on his vocal cords. The band was forced to cancel tour dates through May 13 including Midwestern US, Canada, and Europe. In addition, the GRAMMY winners’ upcoming record, scheduled to be released this Fall through Lonely Tone/Playing in Traffic, is now on hold.

Jojo Garza comments, “My voice specialist told me it’s vital to take care of this medical issue now if I want to continue making music. Nothing is more important to me than sharing this passion with my fans, so I cannot ignore this problem. My brothers and I promise to do our best to make up these shows.”

OMG, I feel so bad for Jojo. I wonder if they did any kind of surgery? My heart goes out to the boys and maybe this is a way of God telling him to "Slow it down". Hopefully it'll all work out for the best. Hope you have many more days of singing your beautiful songs for the world. We love you, Jojo! Enjoy your familia while you are home. Thanks Richard for posting this news here on the forum.

The tour schedule is so grueling and the boys never let up. A sign of true committment to their fans and their music. I know this has got to be hard on JoJo as well as his brothers and the entire LLB camp and his family/ their families. As so many have said on Facebook and here - We are praying for you, JoJo. "and the prayer that is said with faith will make the sick person well, the Lord will heal that person". Amen.

Take care, follow doctors orders and get some rest. We will be waiting for Los Lonely Boys when the time is right and you are fully healed.

This is sad news indeed. I know how much Jojo loves to sing. You can see it every time he is on stage. This is going to be a difficult time for him, his brothers, and the rest of the family.
