Michelle that's a pretty cool design. I really like it. The only thing is that I thought we got .com back instead of .org? I know I can get to the forums with both extensions because the .org crosses over. Just asking - I'm really not sure though.

I'll look thru some of my pictures if you are interested. I'm really amazed at the talent some of you have.

Rita... I think that's a great idea!! Maybe there could be one generic design, and then I can make a version with Jojo and your daughter. And anyone else who would like a 'custom' one could let me know and I'll plug your special picture in there for you. Of course anyone who knows how to do that themselves, I can give you the file to do so.

I'm just continuing to be dis-satisfied with mine. No fan has seen it, and only one fan even has a ghost of an idea of what it might be about.

So, in the interest of 2009 and progress, I'm voting Michelle's badge for my neckwear this year. It meets all of Gigi's guidance to me along the way - theme, colors, etc.

Michelle, you win ... something ... I'll see what I have that might be somewhat unique and when I see you and the rest of the out-of-tOwNDA on 1/22, I'll bring it along.

I'll do the typework if you'll send me a nice clean version as a .png preferably (less graphic mess when I edit it).

EDIT: Actually, I'll be really crazy. One of each. Sister Belle, may I have the artwork for yours too?

Austintacious, I still have all the machinery, so hit me on my email and I'll make any badges necessary.

AND I STILL **DESPERATELY** NEED TIX FOR GRUENE - 3 if possible (two important guests) but 1 if that's all I can get, and that's for ME!

Wow! it's beautiful Michelle. . good work. . thanks for doing this, and I'm glad when we have a 'uniform' badge for the shows. .

I always wear mine with pride knowing I 'earned' it with the work involved being La Onda, especially all the coordination it takes.

it brings up a question for me. . I noticed there is no "Street Team" on it. .
I wonder if we are still a 'street team' which has been my main focus for being La Onda by the bay. . .
but then times have changed, and I since 'Crossroads' is the fan club. . maybe Crossroads would be more appropriate if it's a fan badge, and no longer for the 'street team'. Maybe I'm way off base and missing something here. I am just wondering because I can never seem to get on the live nation? street team site, so maybe all the activity is over there, as far as promotion, swag making, radio requests, etc.

Anyway, It is really beautiful with the blue hues all through it. . . and the earthtone ribbon. I love it!

I have been over to Live Nation and nothing is happening over there, So I come here for the news, swag ideas and to see what is requested of us Street Teamers. So I'm glad you noticed that Tasina That's an easy fix I'm adding Street Team to my badge, that IS why i proudly wear my badge to let everyone know we support and promote the Boys to who ever will listen.

Sister Tasina, I didn't even notice.

As far as I will ever be concerned, Crossroads is a fan club. It is not necessarily the same as La Onda, which is the Street Team.

Call me old fashioned, but they are still distinct in my mind.

Although, everyone be very clear - there's less to do of what used to bind us together as La Onda - meaning less street teaming - but we're all still fans. No artificial divisions, cuz anyone can always go hustle for the boys and be Onda.

LOVE it, Michelle! You did a beautiful job. Such warm colors...lovely. Like you said, the original artwork helps. He is so talented. It's very similar to the one I made last summer (VERY quickly!) for Onda Plains. I made them for the August show in CB, and we were a-rushin', let me tell ya! LOL!! I will probably not attempt a new one, simply because I probably won't make it to any shows -- maybe one -- and I made ours to say "2008-09". I don't know, tho'...I love yours so much, I might make another! hahaha...Bad pics, 'cause they were scanned from the badge itself, but maybe you can get an idea...

I just moved to Hurst from Austin after the end of a 23 year long abusive marriage. Now I have the freedom to see LLB or Vallejo or whom ever, when ever.
