I'm collecting information for the web masters about trouble some of us are experiencing at the public forum. Please take a second to answer the brief poll. This will stay open until Aug. 30. Thanks!

I can log into the public site but I can't post
every time I try it takes me back to the log in.

I can log in, and it says "welcome rosiejeanne, you will now be redirected to the public forum" but when I try to post, it says I'm not registered. So I tried to register again, for the heck of it, and it says my screenname is already taken. So, that's why I don't go there, because I just get aggrevated when I can't say what I need to. So, hopefully one day, they will get it fixed, so we can spread the word to all the fans who are just not ready yet to take the plunge to the pay forum. Thanks in advance, Rosie

I can login OK there, it is here Im having issues :mad: keeps redirecting me... saing not to use a bookmark

I think thats to protect the private site somehow. If I go to another site for a while, it wont let me back on sometimes, until I log in again.

The problem is, my bookmark is where I normally login. So I have to use GOOGLE to find the darn login page. :(

ok, it's cherienjim..this is the 1st time we have been able to log in to this website for three days!!!we'd type in our user name and id and the same screen would come up blank...i finally had to call the help line, and julie walked me thru the whole procedure...hopefully all will be ok now, but i'm afraid to log out.. :( :confused:

Hi Everyone! It sounds like quite a few of us are having problems with log ins. I am also having problems with my log ins. I am helping the people at MusicToday determine what is going on. My theory is that the new front page (http://loslonelyboys.com) only lets us log in to one of the Forums but not both. In my case it lets me into the Public Forum but not the Fan Club. However, if I reach the Fan Club by typing in http://fans.loslonelyboys.org I get in just fine.

Can people who have issues please try logging in directly by going to either
http://fans.loslonelyboys.org (for the Fan Club) or
http://forums.musictoday.com/llb/ (for the Public Forum)

Please describe what you did and what results you got. I will collect the information and forward it to MusicToday. Thanks

Bela - I'm glad you're talking with them. They haven't responded to my emails. :(

I wondered if it was the new front page causing the trouble. I don't use it at all because I'm on dial up and it takes forever for the page to load (it's go so many bells and whistles). I always log in to the old URL at .org, not .com. for Crossroads.

I had a ton of trouble getting here this past weekend :( I, too am scared to log out. I changed my password, cleared cookies and still had issues :(

by the way. bela is right. if you go thru the .org address you can get into the fan website. i also cleared cookies, history... thanks bela myself, its working fine now. cherienjim :) :cool:

I didn't have trouble logging into the fan club until the little banner at the top started showing up on the log in page to the fan club. It's the same little banner that's at the top of the main site page, the one that says, "fans, forum, etc."

I hope they get it fixed soon. I have been logging in at the .org thingy too. Thanks Belle and Bela for all your help! :)

I am convinced that the new Front Page is causing at least some of the problems. MusicToday did not develop the front page but they have contacted the developers who did it. Hopefully they will figure out the issue. In the mean time, log in directly through the URLs above.

I just started having problems logging into the fan club at work, I'm thinking they put a block on it since I'm still able to long in on home computer. :(

But still having issues trying to get into the public forum...actually I can get in, it reconizes and welcomes me and redirects me back to the threads so I can see/read the threads but I can't post.
