a quick inexpensive way to get word out to some about FORGIVEN

Well I know I told some of my N.E. friends of my idea and plan to do this..but thought I'd share this! I ordered a bunch of the LLB READ bookmarks and for my end-of-the-year gift to my students instead of the ususal lollipop (which we are encouraged NOT to give out any longer!) I gave them each a bookmark (250 students who will no doubt SHOW their parents their "gift from the Art teacher"!)....it encourages READING AND tells them about the new cd..I made labels and put it on the back of each bookmark telling of the fan website as well as the release of FORGIVEN! I am also donating 250 with the label added to my town's library...they put them next to check-out for all to take...and as the July 1st date is approaching..why not a nice quick reminder of the new cd's "birth"! Nothing unique..but this way I got out 500 little bits of swag and encouraged some good ol' fashioned reading at the same time!
( I'd also given out many, many of them with the label at concerts..gave fans a choice of those or my drawn bumper sticker... yes adorned with said label!) Just a thought ..glad to share!

We've been passing them out since they went on sale last year. With stickers on the back (although now we need to change the .org to .com (or will it work both ways).

We just reorder when we get low. . . Martha and I were so glad when they came out for sale so inexpensively, it's made for an easier year of making swag. . hahaha. I also give them out to teachers (have a lot of teacher friends and families) to give to their students. . .
