Man, If I didn't realize how much you all mean to me, I do now. .
Thank you for all the beautiful birthday wishes~

I am sitting alone in my room up in Kenora, Ontario, Canada. .( where every text is .25, every phone call is .49 a min) so I have limited my phone calls. . otherwise I'd be calling y'all back. . I'm looking forward to being home tomorrow night. . and seeing the boys on saturday.

thanks so much Velvet, my sista, for my birthday wishes and your beautiful words, I feel from you generous heart. . you know I love you girl from the center of my tender heart .. .thanks for always having my back. . thank you Dave STR and Bobbie & Joe V for the wondaful phone messages, everyone for the myspace birthday wishes, and of course you all here. . my internet connection is so slow here, but I'm trying get some pics up, and catch up on reading at least.

I just finished a two day workshop I'm incredibly tired and deeply deeply grateful for my life, mi familia y friends, and of course my Ronnie. . .

It's been a lot of traveling, first two weekends in Texas, then Florida, and now Canada. . next week to South Dakota, i guess it's that time of year. . .but MOST importantly is I get to see the boys in MONTEREY on Saturday, and hopefully the KFOG show, (but not sure about that one). . on Monday.

We are also having Ronnie's dad's services on Sunday and his Uncle is coming to stay with us for the weekend. He keeps telling all his buddies, his family in Georgia that he's going to see LOS LONELY BOYS. . :D and he's very proud of it . .

over the past few weeks, I know I've not been online much and haven't talked to people on the phone. I won't lie, it's been extremely difficult these days. I won't go into details but our family is undergoing a lot . .
all this is hard, but we DO feel so blessed. Ronnie and I are strong together, more grateful than ever, and deeply deeply appreciative of every single day, every greeting, every email. . every rising sun, every drop of water. . .

On this wondaful day of my birth, I say thank you to my mother, and my two fathers. .who gave me such great GENES :P and strength and courage. . Today I hope they are proud of me as they watch over me from Heaven.
I'm very blessed with familia, THE great love of my life, and healthy happy grandchildren and grown children. . . what more could an ol' gal want :P

and Martha and Rob, what would I ever do without you. . thanks for being there for us always. . Ringo Henry and Jojo, have no idea the many many gifts they gve us all, year round, year after year. . and you two have been so precious to me, and Ronnie. . .brings tears to my eyes. .

Ruth, Amor, Cree, Rita, Deb, Sara, Belle,cmedina,Nanabee, Llbeagle, Michelle and who else gave me birthday wishes, thank you each for being here. . you keep this place alive and I for one am very grateful .. I'm looking forward to seeing y'all soon onda road sometime.

Bela, my sister, your presence is Sacred to me, and I love you so much. . give hugs to Mike for me as well, and I give thanks to you both for being family.

I have nothing to give but my love for LLB and familia. . but I do want to share some pics. I came to Canada on tuesday, met people and did a two day workshop, where they surprised me with birthday cake, gifts and a song. .and I only met them yesterday. . Creator is merciful. .I wasn't alone on my birthday :)

Before I left home, I made the sign in book for my(Ronnie's) father's memorial this weekend. . also made him some thank you cards for his wife to be able to give out. .

I also gave Ronnie his 'customized sills' as a surprise. .(he was getting ready to order them) as an early Father's day gift. (sills are on the floor near the door in a vehicle)He already installed them in our truck .. check it out. .

truer words never spoken Tasina. When I was opening this thread I thought, I'll say something about your children, your love for them is so obvious. But you already have. It's a blessed thing.
The story about Uncle is so cool, enjoy the show with him.
I just read in the paper a friend died on Thursday. Her breast cancer returned, she tried so hard. I'll go to her funeral on Monday as she's a long way from home (The Philippines) and she's left behind an only daughter whom I love. It's also one year today since my friend's husband died of melanoma. Her dad died two Sunday's ago, poor woman, no wonder her hair has turned grey in the past year.
This might be getting a bit much for a birthday thread. sorry tasina. Suppose I'm just saying we're lucky to be alive and have the strength of one another's love to help us through.

I've just been to the local market and saw these beauties moored on the river. Wish I could give you all three, so you could round up la familia and sail the ocean ....with LLB blaring on the stereo :)

Thank you all so much. . It's been pretty tough. . I haven't shared much here lately just because it's been so difficult. I am grateful for everyone thinking of me this time of year. . i cancelled my trip to South Dakota, which is my yearly pilgrimage home to reconnect with family, my land, my home. . but my son is trying to come here instead since I can't go there. His car isn't the best, so I pray that they make it safely. .
