Happy Bir-day Willie!

He is a true cowboy poet. I just love his music, but I love his sense of story-telling in his lyrics even more. He is the Americana I've loved the best. "Let It Be Me", "Promised land", "Pancho & Lefty", "Seven Spanish Angels" are some of my favorites!! Incredible, unforgettable artist.

I've been hearing a gorgeous duet with Wille and Emmylou a lot on the radio lately. They sing about a "blue bonnet Spring". Now I have so many Texan friends via the internet, I know what that is :)
