Well, as you muight remember, last summer I made a set of LLB dolls, and got to give them to Jojo in Hampton New Hampshire. He went NUTZ over them, and said he wasn't sharing w/ his brothers.
SO---
over the winter, with lots of help from Debbie( thanks Deb! ;) ) I was able to get enough dolls together to make more!
During one of our New England Onda get togethers, we went to a cool 50's style diner, and the kids meals came in a classic style car. Well, The idea for something w/ the dolls popped into my head, and I got a couple of the carboard cars befroe we left the restaurant! My idea turned into a Drive-In Theater. It has lights around the "screen" showing 'Cottonfields & Crossroads' (of course!! LOL), and it plays music out of the earbud "car speakers"--lol. Ringo is riding a jesse james cycle-best I could come up with! hahahaha. and Henry is wearing a Batman Shirt I made just for him!! This set was inteneded for Henry only.

Ringo got to ride a motorcycle. I was inspired by the "diamonds" video, where you only get a glimpse of him riding his bike. This doll is bigger than the tiny ones in H & J's sets. It's bigger than a Barbie doll!! LOL Ringo doll has sound strapped to his back-- he talks some( from Stubbs last year, I think) and it plays "Suppertime" too!

Now, just to be FAIR, I had to make something for Jojo-- so I made them ALL another doll to have. The Ringo doll has a drum & high hat(which actually works!) ornament-instruments. Henry is dressed as he looked the 2nd show I went to( the Big E, 10/2/05).And I made the 'stacey's' he's wearing! I found guitar ornaments also, and this was as close as I could get to HIS white guitar. It even has a tiny cross on it! Jojo is dressed as he was last summer. He wore this same white shirt w/ the sleeves rolled up to almost every show it seemed!! LOL Just the t-shirt changed under it!!! Again, the bass is just an ornament I found, that happened to be the Right Size for these dolls!
Each has it's own stand, with their name painted on it.
H's doll is also wearing a "traveling banner cape"--as depicted in the cartoon my daughter drew last fall.(where she thinks H & R were pretending to be super hero's w/ it!LOL)

And then not to be left out-- I made dolls for Ish & Glenn, along with Gig & Kevin! Last minute on these, I will admit. Glenn's has the iPhone in hand, ready to talk!

And this is what they all looked like when I pulled them out of the various suitcases & boxes they traveled in on the way to Florida! Rosie was like "Where are they all comming from? HOW did you get those into what you brought with you??" hahahahahhahahahha....
They sat atop the TV in our condo for awhile, untill it was ready to go to the HOB and be given to the guys!
It was ALL WORTH it when Glenn said "It's like christmas in there. Joey said it wasn't even July yet!" and How Henry said "Hey I remember those dolls. What ever happened to the other ones we got? Anybody know where they got put?" and Jojo just turned away whistling!!! LOL Scamp :D DID keep them to himself after all!!! KOOL! :cool:
Glenn was very kind and got the dolls to the guys--and he even showed them how to turn it all off & on! THANK YOU GLENN! But I didn;t see the guys. They were tired (too much fishing in the afternoon I guess! hehehe)
So that was my other Doll give away. I'm just glad to have it over with! :p
