Four Bears, Newtown, ND show

http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s265/EEVLWYS/LLBapril5.jpgApril 5th, the boys played in NORTH DAKOTA at the Four Bears Casino. My cousin/sister and her family went, buying tickets right away getting front row. I sent a box of swag to them so they could have the full experience.

My cousin Marcy and her hubby Phillip, & Beth saw them here at the Fillmore back in 2004. My nephew/son Sinte Numpa and Beth had seen them at the Masonic in feb. 05. So they were fired up to see them again, this time in Indian country, onda rez as we call it.

So they called me right after the concert and were whooping and hollaring, saying the show the best ever. . and the swag made it a great experience for them. When Numpa was passing out the buttons previous to the start of the concert, he was saying "you can wear this IF you're going to dance. . if you aren't going to dance I can't give it to you". . good plan on his part. .

When the show started they were saying 21 and over only, which was a drag because my niece Cuwe (Chew way, which means sister) couldn't come down to the front. . .and security was making everyone sit down. . .finally after a few songs, my family just stood up and starting dancing, and Numpa looked around motioning for everyone to stand up and dance. . and you see the result.

When the crowd rushed the stage (around 30 mins into the concert), kids came down to the front, so my neice did also. They rocked out for the whole time, and she was thrilled that during Heaven Henry handed her a pic. He also touched her hand when they were leaving the stage. It is her 16th birthday today, so THIS was her present. My whole family LOVED the concert.

After the 1st phone call, Beth called me again once they were outside, and I asked "have you seen IAN yet?" and they hadn't thought of it. I told him last weekend that my family would be there. . and they had a blast with him. Of course as soon as they mentioned my name, he gave a big hug to my son. They bought all kinds of stuff! and hung out with Ian, sharing jokes, etc. Y'all know how fun he is. .

Tonight when they called me again, they were still high from the show, and are talking about making it to Kansas City and Council Bluffs. More of a reason for me to get out there :)

Thank you for sharing that. I will see them Thursday in Charlotte and am sooo excited that I cant hardly stand it...Really looks like they had a great time!

Gives me chills just reading of everyone's happiness. The pictures speak volumes Tasina. Thanks so much for sharing the experience with us. Now did they get a set list - cus you know that's how Onda does it! *lol*.

They definately have the bug - making plans to go on to other shows is the 1st indicator. Good for them.!:cool:
