We were at the show in orlando on 4/11. It was great. we had dinner at the house of blues. then we were first in line for the show. I have a bum foot, so I was in the accessible line, and we heard the practice songs before the show. I also got to meet janine before the show. It was great. she walked right up to me outside as we were going to eat before the show, and when we got inside we were all in the same area. I was literally center stage first row, and at one point JoJo took one too many spins, asnd he got dizzy and almost landed in my arms. wow!!! Henry yelled whoaaa, and laughed. Then Henry and JoJo were at the edge of the stage and were right in my face. I might be old enough to be their Mom, but I love their music, and their personalities. By the way, my son caught one of Ringo's drum sticks!!!!!! omg i'll scan it and display it on here. It's all beat up, and very "used". Too bad we weren't permitted to take photos. Also, thanks to janine for getting me swag from Rita (I think). I'll keep it with all my other LLB stuff. In Pittsburg, Henry and JoJo signed my shirt. ok, enough from me. just thot i'd share it. cherienjim

Belle--I think #4 (that is on Forgiven) may be called "Make it Better"? Won't know for sure till we hear the new CD.

#14 I didn't know the name of and they didn't say if it was on Forgiven--might just be an old song--I called it "Baby I'm Just Me." Then, after this song, Henry sang the "Saxon Pub song" and played the harp--said they had made it up for La Onda in the car on the way to the Saxon Pub! :D

And, the Encore was Suppertime.

On the release day of FORGIVEN, I wanted to share my review of the Boys in CO last week at JAZZ ASPEN! Jojo announced the release of the new CD and said that they would be sharing several songs and they didn't disappoint!

Los Lobos did play Papa Was A Rolling Stone but I don't think the Boys played with them. I didn't start keeping track of the songs until Henry hit the stage since I'm not all that familiar with Los Lobos' music.

Thank you, Ruth. I have to say that it is fantastic being back Onda road. I am not writting very extensive reviews. I am trying to conserve every ounce of energy I have. I am on a nine concert streak. The only way I can make it is by sleeping during all my down time between concerts. I can't wait to have all my energy and enthusiasm back. I am dragging a bit right now.

I have taken lots of pictures. I will post them when I finally get back home.

We had a small crowd at last night's show. As always, the Boys gave a fantastic performance. I was right by Henry's feet and was just mesmerized by his guitar playing.

I am so glad that the Boys are playing the song, Forgiven, every concert. I love that song. I think it is one of their best ever. I hope they will release it as a single.

Yes-- VooDooChile was SSSOOO AWESOME! H was ripping it UP! OMG!
Lovwed how Jojo started More than Love, while R&H didn't know what was going on! LOL John, from HMD Customs had tossed a napkin on stage to joey, asking for that song, so jojo gave it to him! It was short, but Very sweet..and H went right into VDC!

I'm glad they got the set list. .... I was working with my memory!

Slight correction to who Alejandro is .... Alejandro Escovedo's family tree includes former Santana percussionist Pete Escovedo and Pete's daughter Sheila E (also Prince's former drummer and later a pop star).

Alejandro was diagnosed with Hepatitis C about 4 years ago (maybe). In addition to the Benefit held in Austin. Los Lonely Boys along with many other Austin/well known artist collaborated on a CD of which the artist recorded AE's orginals. Castenants was the song that the boys recorded. Henry is lead vocals. We had hoped that AE and LLB would jam it out but STILL getting that song was very special. :cool:

Amy thanks so very much for posting the set list for me!! One correction on Halloween Henry was a very cool looking Vato!!! Black pants, sleeveless shirt and hat, hair down...at least to start!! I had heard Alejandro Escovedo was Sheila E's Dad , but then we were corrected it is her uncle. Velvet I TOO was hoping Henry might come out to add his "grunts' to "Castinets"...but it was still awesome to see and hear!! Hey my CA Traveling Sisters! I'm SO GLAD that Tash and Christel both wrote down the setlist for the Fillmore! I was in such AWE of being front row at the legendary Fillmore seeing the Boys and special guests - Steve Berlin and Cesar Rojas of Los Lobos that I was blown away! That LLB Los Lobos jam session was the BEST! and for those of you that were able to see any of the concerts this summer in the BROTHERHOOD TOUR, you'll know what I mean about the pure energy of sound between Henry, Jo, Ringo & Carmello jamming with Los Lobos!!!

I have been trying to get people to update the set list for months but no one has been doing it. A few have done it on the threads for certain dates but for the most part this has went by the way side.I like to see what they are playing so when we go i up date the list.I use this list because i started it . If it gets rolled in to one then i will up date there but till then i will do it here.I dont see where there should be a problem.

I prefer to have the set list, concert review and pictures in one thread for each show. That way I can get the full experience. I never post set lists here because I find I NEVER come here. I love reading all the details for the individual shows. I think many people feel the same way I do. You can always cut and past the set lists from the Live In Concert section if you really want to see just set lists. I do agree that we have not been having the same level of dedication to posting set lists, reviews, etc as we has in the past. I think it is a shame. I love to look at new and old threads in LIVE IN CONCERT.

I agree Bela about the committment and about the list, photos and reviews being placed in one place as well. It's up to us to set the presidence. There are some fans that used to post here that go to several shows throughout the year and no longer share their experiences and then there's "Us" who do. We definately need to get back on track. I know I've been guilty and I promise to do better :p :cool:
