Sorry for the late post, but earlier I asked the forum for some help on getting a bunch of CD's for a promotion that I do with my company where I send each of my best customers a signed CD from a Blues Artist that I had seen throughout the year. Big thanks for Kevin at Loophole for hooking us up and for Russ Steele at MGR for taking the time to get us 660 CD's and getting them to San Angelo for the Boys to sign. HUGE thanks to LLB for taking the time right before Christmas to sign all 660 CD's, We were able to fly them back here to Chicago overnight and have a marathon packing session in order to get them back out to be shipped before the holiday. Needless to say it was a huge success and many people really surprised at the fact this this year was LLB. The Boys were the most famous act that I have been able to distribute for this gift out of the past 8 years.
I had a huge response from those people who received the gift. Here is one comment that I received which is a good sampling of things that people said.
Thank you so very much for the wonderful gift!!!
I LOVE Los Lonely Boys, so when I saw their autographed CD.... I must
admit I went a little nuts!!
I like them so much that my husband and I even chose one of their
songs (More than Love) for our first dance at our wedding.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
So belated thanks to everyone at the forum for your help in getting this off the ground. It was a gas to have LLB be part of this annual tradition. And special kudos to the Boys who must have writers cramp from signing 660 CD's. This one was so special that we ordered a few more and everyone in our company received a signed CD at our Holiday party. Gracias, Dave. :D

It doesn't surprise me that LLB does this for their fans and different organizations. They truely are a class act. Thank you so much for joining our fan club to relay this message. To hear of the many ways that LLB looks after people (and that goes for Kevin and Russ)... you know that their heart is in it. That's the way they do it...Texican Style baby!

I hadn't noticed that my avatar shows me as a newbie. I actually joined back in October but I haven't posted since I think the new site took over. But I guess I am new as compared to some of you that have been on here pretty regularly. I'll try to stay up to date more currently if I can. Thanks again.

This doesn't surprise me one bit!!! LLB and management truly go the extra mile for the fans....this is just ONE of the reasons why we love them so much!!! Great story CB and thanks for sharing with us here.
More than Love has been known to be used as a "First Dance" at weddings and for proposals at a "live" concert. I witnessed one of them and I remember seeing the look on JoJo's face...he was amazingly surprised.

YES! that was at the Concord show right? IN the front row, a guy knelt down and proposed. . .and the boys stopped at the end of the song to give them props, asking their names, etc. very sweet!

One of the signed 660 just showed up on eBay.
And speaking thereof, the signed First Act has been re-listed.

geez, after 54 show and going on 4 yrs now, they are starting to blend together. . it's a good thing we have pictures since we lost all the reports from the shows on the old fan forum. .
