View Full Version : What's your pre-show strangeness?

Okay, things are moving along before the release of the new cd and tour dates. I know we're all dying to see the the boys! :) What I'd like to know, do any of you have any "traditions" so to say, when you go to a show, or get ready for the show? What I have always done, since I listen to LLB everyday, is a month before the show, NO LLB music at all, for 30 days. I know that is torture!! I love it because, when they come out and start playing, its like having my soul recharged 110%. Everything souds so good after not hearing it for a month. I know its great anyway, but you should at least try to refrain for a little while and see what I mean! What do ya'll do? Or am I the only one? Hee hee!

Having only been to two shows, I haven't developed a routine yet janine.
Psyched today, only 71 days till my next LLB fix (tampa 4-12)

Janine, Why torture yourself??????????????? What I do, is, get myself all amped up BY LISTENING. ALL THE TIME! Then when it's showtime, I'm really ready! I just hate going to only one show, cuz I'm so sad when it's over. When you go to like 3 or 4 in a row, it's just THE BEST! That's why I'm waiting to make plans because I'm scared to book a flight home, then there's another show around the corner. But I do have to go have a few pops before a show somwetimes, just to calm my nerves. LOL!! I guess I'm just a basketcase! Swag is a good thing to make, before the shows, to get syched up, too. We do that in the hotel rooms sometimes.

My stomach gets butterflies and i have to tinkle :o ...not really a tradition, but i am in another's bucket...i have only seen them live a couple of times.

I agree with Rosie - that is truly torture. I would die.

What I do do, is that I am a "PACER". :eek: I am so ansy and pace the floor like a caged lioness waiting for The Boys to come on stage. I've been to 6 concerts, which is not much compared to some...BUT I will take it and they are mine to keep. :D :D :D :D

Try it, you'll like it! Even I get a little tired of the same old, thats why we're so ancy right now waiting for the cd. The not listening makes it all fresh as the morning dew. and it is not torture, its heavenly! Then after the show I'm all charged up and go back to listening like crazy. I have been known to cheat on my fast on the way to the concert!
