Me, I'm No Angel by Greg Allman. Every time I hear it lately, thats what I think! Or what songs you have heard them cover live? ;)

At the Denver Fillmore sound check we heard them cover The Beatles' Eight Days a Week. I'd love to hear them cover more of The Beatles songs. Maybe some more Stevie Wonder tunes too. :D

A few of us heard them do Van Morrison's "Into the Mystic" at the Honolulu sound check--just beautiful. I'd love to hear them do that one in concert. Also, one of my all-time favorite songs, "I Heard it Through the Grapevine." I think they can cover just about anything... :D

Ya know this is gonna sound crazy (big fat surprise) but I've been listening to a lot of Elvis lately. I'd love to hear them sing, 'Jail House Rock', 'Love Me Tender' A Capella, and 'All Shook Up'.

Whoa Mama. I bet they'd bring down the house with those.

Call me crazy, but "Bernadette" by The Four Tops?? :)

Cree - I also love Elvis. "Can't Help Falling in Love" is beautiful.

If they wanna rip the flesh off my bones and be raw, I love Breaking Benjamin. Some classic Metallica (maybe Nothing Else Matters) or Guns N Roses (November Rain or Don't Cry) would be sooo awesome.

Whos That Lady, wow. that WOULD be cool! I am glad we all have a diverse opinion on this subject. My dream cover would be a song called "Janine" by Mike Doughty, now that would be nice. :)

I think they could pull them off , no problem at all!!!

I LOVE the idea of doing Metallica' "Nothing Else matters" OMG- I LOVE that song!! Never imagined them doing it, but now that I think about it, I WANT to hear it!! LOL :D

Tighten up Now- Archie Bell and The Drells

Hi everybody
I'm Archie Bell of the Drells
From Houston, Texas
We don't only sing but we dance
Just as good as we walk
In Houston we just started a new dance
Called the Tighten Up
This is the music
We tighten up with

First tighten up on the drums
Come on now, drummer
I want you to tighten it up for me now
Oh, yeah

Tighten up on that bass now
Tighten it up
Ha, ha, yeah
Now let that guitar fall in
Oh, yeah
Tighten up on that organ now....

Oldie but goodie, orale!

Well, from the San Angelo show (and others), I thought they did a pretty fair job with "I'm A Man". Although, died-in-the-wool Chicago fan that I am, it doesn't sound right without a fat sound.

Ya know, I once heard someone say the boys were the most phenomenal cover band ever. I can't think of anything they couldn't do well. I know that one night in Alabama, a sax and a clarinet joined them for a jam. Some of you remember when LosOnceThereWasAFanNamedAmyGirl told us about that one?

Therefore, I'm going way far out on a limb:

Mary Had A Little Lamb - the version by Paul McCartney and Wings

and

All My Life's A Circle - by Harry Chapin

I can't count the number of kids I've taught to sing those songs - and I'd love to have versions by LLB.

And can't you just imagine them doin' David Allan Coe's "You Never Call Me By My Name"? Can you just see LLB singing the GREATEST COUNTRY MUSIC SONG EVER WRITTEN?

Maggot Brain - George Clinton Funkadelic

and of course, anything by the Beatles. .

While my guitar gently weeps would probably be something they would totally fly with.

On my way home tonight KFOG played the Rolling Stones version of Route 66--released in 1964-1965? And while I was listening I kept thinking: the boys could do a really good version of this song!

Love all your ideas. I know the Boys could do all those songs wonderfully! I've always wanted to hear them do the Stones' "Satisfaction", one of my favorite songs.

WHEN THE MORNING COMES (Hall & Oates) , even though it doesn't lend itself to any screaming wailing guitar solo for Henry, the vocals would be nice to hear them do, and it's always been one of my favorites!

I'm also a diehard Chicago fan, and when I heard the boys were doing "I'm A Man", I was kinda skeptical at first. But after hearing it, my band is definitely going to add that to the set list...LLB style of course!

And yes...I could hear them doing DAC!!!! :p

oh, how about SMOKE FROM A DISTANT FIRE ? maybe a bit on the pop side to lend itself to any heavy-duty jamming, but then again, look who we're talkin' about now. they cut set "SILENT NIGHT" on fire (maybe they will on that Christmas release they're speaking of). but can't ya just hear JoJo in particular singing those lyrics , "if things are the same then explain why your kiss is so cold" -- yeah
