It would be great to see all the home made (or machine made) personalized LLB banners.

Here is our La Onda Utah (OBTM) banner. It was hand painted by my mom (La Sonrisa) and is very simple, but we love our little banner. We are thankful to have had it signed by The Boys in Denver, Co on 11-1-06.

Not only has the OBTB banner been all over California, it's been to Oregon, Baltimore, and Philadelphia/New Jersey as well, and I think we took it to Austin. Can't remember if we took it to the 2nd Vegas show or not. Guess I should keep a better record of where it's been, like the travelling banner....I didn't take it to HI, though, because I had too much weight in my suitcase from all the swag we took over with us. :D I think each of our suitcases weighed 49.9 pounds! We had to keep juggling stuff between suitcases to make sure we didn't go over the 50 lb limit!

Isn't this picture of OBTB from Turlock, CA in Sept, right before the boys went to HI? Also, Truckee is in CA, although it's ALMOST in Nevada--and I think we drove from Oregon through winding mountain roads (with TONS of road construction on a SUNDAY-- :D !) in CA and then around through Nevada to get there. Oh what we do for our boys! I think our longest drive for LLB is going to be in March when we go to Lincoln City, OR--but maybe driving to Vegas was longer--will have to check mapquest. :) But at least with Vegas we broke the drive up first by driving to the show at the Greek in LA and then stopping for another show at Fresno, CA on the way home. Driving from Lincoln City back home is going to be a killer!

Ah yes---the "pride & joy" we all shared last summer!!!!
It was alot of fun to have 3 giggly TEENS along with us.....
They look SO cute holding their little sign--- which finally got them to get their song played in New Haven CT. Man! We were ALL so thrilled!! LOL

So do any other Crossroads or La Onda have a banner!?

You know- I was looking on OrientalTrading.com , and they have banners you can customise w/ WORDS(no pix) there, that really aren't THAT expensive!! ($12-18)

So that could be an option for anyone thinking they'd like to have their own banner- but just don't feel creative enough to do one themselves!!! LOL


I know our party store also prints out custom banners (and will put pictures on them as well)- but i believe they begin around $20...and the bigger they are, & w/ pictures just adds to the price...so it could get pricey!
But still another choice to look into--- if you've got a bunch of folks willing to chip in on it- it's an option I guess. I'm told MOST party stores now do them, all over the counrty.

So, just wanted to thro that out there .....
