Hey yins - Let's talk some crap. I mean, what's goin' on? Whatcha been up to? I just spent my barnes/Noble and Borders book store gift cards...I came out with 3 books by Robin Hobb, Indigenous CD, and 'Smoke Signals' DVD.

Well, I put all the kids onda bus, sent the hubby off to work. Today I'm gonna call my part time job and tell them "I quit!" Its a restaurant where I've worked about a month and I hate it!!!!! I NEVER quit jobs, my last one I had for nine years, but the owner is a jerk and all the employees are miserable, I dont need that. I'd rather stay home than be around negativity, So thats whats up here, talkin crap on the boss! I'm happy! :p ;) :)

went to orlando for the weekend and had a shop till you drop and relax at a nice hotel weekend. Only thing better would have been catching a LLB Show :D anxiously waiting here guys...

I've been havin' fun these days for someone who's patiently awaiting some new LLB (album, shows, etc.)!! Been on Myspace a lot and rockin' and rollin' at MegaHertz shows nearby me!!! They bring back TONS of memories of the '80s rock!!

Hi y'all (back)...
For me, it is going to work each day, and then when I get home, I just want to "chill out". Yesterday was my hubby's birthday (the excitement for the week). But I get Monday off, MLK holiday, so I made a reservation today at the Ritz Carlton here in Orlando for a pedicure and hair highlights. My great boss gave me a very generous gift card at Christmas. WAHOO.... :D :D Really looking forward to that pampering.

That's it for now. Just waiting calmly and patiently for hearing some good news of LLB's new cd. Wondering about the songs they come up with...and praying that they record "Times Are Hard" on it. That is an 'AWESOME' song. **mn, Henry sounds sooooooooooo hot! Hmmmm ;) :)

As for me. . I emceed a memorial for Floyd Red Crow Westerman this past weekend. I think it really helped me. I realize that I was in mourning for the past month. . .all the deaths affected me when I didn't notice. .I mean I was kind of in a funk, but coming out it now. .Reading Miko & Lil, ordered some of Laurieboops' crystals, and watching the Fillmore DVD again, mainly the part of the boys backstage fooling around. . soo funny. . Jojo with his flag folding/taps rendition. . and Henry's GOVENator impression.

I have a three day weekend. .and we are hoping the Chargers will fill the TALL order of kickin' some Patriot booty. . .They'll have to be at the tip top of their game, but I gotta stay true to my guy who does NOT like the Pats. . . (an old Raider vendetta). So looking forward to some hot Football games :)

Hey, gang! :D Cree, good luck with your photo competition. I entered two of my novels into a Texas book judging contest. I won't know till April how I did. (I've got a book fair then.)

I should be getting the second novel in the T'on Ma series to the printers, but I've been procrastinating (not sure why) and making those LLB song title graphics while learning the new software.

I really need to put that aside for a week or so and just finish the novel editing. But...the laptop keeps calling my name, begging me to open the graphics and try something new. :rolleyes:

My favorite was the 2 girls driving backwards in the car. The kid in the glasses tickled me to death. But, I really identified with the main character and his father. In fact I almost turned it off, 'cause it hit home (minus the drinking & hitting though).

Since the patriots defeated the chargers I just wanna say...Go GIANTS. Thanks for all of your well wishes on the photo contest. We are to be notified by mail...so far nothing. Sigh...

As for me...I am going to be getting my very own car very soon. It will be nice to have some more independence, and not be stuck at home if everyone else is gone. I'm gonna be going to see and test drive a car tomorrow. A little, red Ford Focus. :cool:

Other than that, I am kind of getting the itch to travel somewhere. I have some friends in Ohio and some friends in Virginia I hope to go see soon. I haven't seen them in so long! I may take a train down to Virginia (DC area) during the Cherry Blossom Festival. That sounds like fun. And hopefully there will be some more LLB concerts coming up! Man, I haven't been to a good concert in a while. I need a fix! Teehee. :p

Hey Tasina, first of all...glad you are coming to Orlando. You need to pm on where you are staying and where you're going. I'll see if I can get a Floridian discount for you. ALSO....the song "Rainy Days'...I'm dying to know more about it. It was very hard hearing it and making out the words. Do you know someone else that may have a recording? PM me on this too.

Hey Belle, you know I wish you ALOT of luck. But honestly, I think you have proven yourself so well in your past novels, that you will do just fine. I will keep my fingers crossed.
