I think it's fabulous for the boys to be doing this gig...not only for them (because they are VERY excited about being at the Playboy Mansion) but because it's for a worthy cause...all proceeds will be going to PADRES Contra El Cancer (Parents Against Cancer), a Los Angeles based organization helping latino parents cope with their children's cancer. Eva Longoria is their national spokesperson, so I'm sure she'll be at the event.

This is going to be a great event...the All-Star Band, "Legends of Latin Rock" are comprised of members from WAR, EL CHICANO AND SANTANA, which will be performing along with our very own LOS LONELY BOYS! This should be quite an evening in Los Angeles. The best part about all of this is that your ticket for $750 is TAX DEDUCTIBLE!!!

I hope some of you lonelies & loopies out there get to go and support this worthy cause!! ;)

I read about this, too, Laurie --- but I read tix were $1500 apiece. In any place (let alone the Playboy Mansion), this will be a wONDAful show!!! Well worth the gift to charity if a person could spare it.....

The only place you can purchase tickets for $750, are at the Premier Events (website provided below). All other ticket agencies are selling them for over $1000 each.

It is quite a bit of money, but a worthy cause if you can afford it! :cool:

This gig has been postponed until later this summer.

Maybe now we can save some $$$ to go!!! Besides, it'll be much nicer in the summer when you can actually go swimming in the grotto ;)

Okay, when I saw this I have to admit I was shocked and excited because LLB was performing at the mansion, but I was also bummed that I didn't get contacted by the promoter. He had previously mentioned to me that if things changed, he'd let me know right away. I checked his site:

www.premiere-e.com and they had a "special appearance by LLB" with the same pic they had up there before, so I called the promoter to confirm...

Mr. Flores said, "I wish the boys could do this show, but they are not available....the people advertising made a mistake. I will have them correct and remove their name (LLB) from this event."

BUMMER!!! :(
