The Cheyenne show was one of the best I've attended even in the rain. The boys were on fire and really got the crowd excited.

When me and Selina got to Martha's in Denver, she had arranged for us to get henna tattoos. I was ready with my picture of Henry's flying guitar and it turned out great. Also, sweet, sweet Jojo even noticed the beadwork I did on my shirt and called Henry's attention to it.

Just as we got to the fairgrounds, the clouds bursted and for a minute I thought we might be struck by lightening. We were caught in a down pour that didn't let up, so we finally just walked through the ankle high puddles and went to check out the concert venue.

We were there early and I guess the staff felt sorry for us looking like drowned rats and they let us in. Because there was now mud in front of the stage (which I would have gladly stood in) we were moved back to the asphalt. It was very hard to get good pictures because of the rain but I managed to get a few.

This is a dream picture of Henry signing my t-shirt.

Here are the boys performing and really tearing it up.

Papa Garza was there and it's always great to hear them perform Outlaws with him. Papa looked so proud and happy to be a part of such an awesome show.

The boys brought down the house with their performance of EOANB--just awesome :!:

After the show we went to the Outlaw Saloon and spent some time talking about the show and how awesome the boys are. It was still raining when we went out for breakfast and back to our room.

I thought this was the best show of the road trip until the next day at Steamboat Springs.

The Thunder rolled, the Lightning flashed, the Rain came in record amounts...and Los Lonely Boys totally rocked Cheyenne.
Overheard while standing in line---"Cheyenne won't know what hit them," and man were they right! The evening started with an extreme weather siren and it poured buckets, but a rainbow was later seen and the POT OF GOLD ended at the stage with Los Lonely Boys and Ronnie Milsap. I swear LLB almost blew the hats off of the big brawny cowboys kicking up their heels in the mud to OUTLAWS!! 8) Cheyenne was TOTALLY IN LOVE with TEXICAN ROCK-N-ROLL! The band seemed in an especially good mood (hey, after all, their hero Ronnie Milsap was there) and seeing Papa Garza on stage with them was an extra special treat. The electricity in the air was amazing. The Boys tore it up for the entire evening. Some of the songs they played, IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER--

CRAZY DREAM
ROSES
BABY YOU'RE GONNA SEE
MEMORIES
MY WAY
NOBODY ELSE
OYE MAMACITA
OUTLAWS
FOLSOM PRISON BLUES
PANCHO VILLA?
NEVER MET A WOMAN
MAN TO BEAT
HEAVEN
END OF A NEW BEGINNING

During EOANB, when Jojo was playing two guitars, a young man behind us was heard with a slight drawl to say- "How the H-LL does he do that?". Without a doubt, new fans were made, Ronnie Milsap set the tone for the evening with his many hits and when he mentiond Los Lonely Boys the crowd went ballistic, bringing a huge smile to his face. For him to feel that way about the Garza Brothers brought a tear to my eye. It was great seeing the crowd so appreciative of him. Meeting up with La Onda was awesome, wish we could have spent more time visiting. What a WILD RIDE! Thank you Cheyenne for your hospitality!!
