I've heard several people mention the Boys' new CD, but does anyone know any details? Song titles? Release date? CD title? Do they have guest artists - like the horn section on the Sacred CD?
Any and all info is greatly appreciated. :D

I sure haven't heard anything. The only thing that I heard at our OndaMas party was that the boys were going back to raw just like JoJo mentioned in that San Antonio article in July. It would be fabulous if the "Texas Horns" (renamed by JoJo "Texican Horns") came back for a guest spot. So far Willie has been on both Studio CD's as well so maybe that will happen again. Of course, if they could squeeze in another accordian style tune for Michael Guerra to appear on that would be too sweet! AND Reese on keys would be a treat too. There are so many possibilities ... BUT the bottom line ... taking it back to the bone. I'm ready. Spring can't get here soon enough!

I hope "raw" means some real blues numbers and much less "production". I like the Boys best just the way they are live, without enhancements.

There a lots of live recordings of LLB. I like the studio sound myself. Hope they stay true to themselves on the next CD. I have a feeling they will after Sacred.
Which songs do you think they will be putting on the CD? I think they will have Cottonfields and Crossroads and Man To Beat on the new CD, plus some new songs of course.
Whatever way these choose to go, I know is will be absolutely awesome. :)
Their 1st CD was blew me away, and that is what got me here; and their 2nd CD set me on fire, and that's why I am staying. So they can't go wrong on the 3rd CD.
NO WAY ... cuz it's going to be "Their Way"!!!!

I'm hoping that by "raw" he means just exactly that: no studio musicians, no production, no keyboard, no nothing. Just the three of them playing some new songs. Some acoustic, some a cappella, and of course lots of Texican rock 'n roll.
