Not looking to trade or anything, but I thought y'all might be interested to know how that final sale of Sofaking went on Ebay. The winning bid was $186.95. As we said, we think the dude was just trying to milk a die-hard fan, but it's still kinda interesting, impressive, to know what it went for finally.

:rolleyes: Ruth, I can't believe it went for that much.. Sorry you didn't get it. I know you would have loved it. My sister in law just bought me the "Live at the Filmore"DVD on e-bay today. She had to pay 32.00 for it plus shipping. I'm lucky she got my name to buy for! I just hope it's not really a CD But it said DVD. We'll see!

The Boys probably didn't clear that much money from the original CD sales. I think most of the CDs were sent out to reviewers. Looks like most of the reviewers didn't even bother opening it from what I have seen on e-bay.

If i'm not mistaken, i saw another sealed SofaKing go on eBay about a year ago (?) for over $500.. i thought i'd bid up to $200 at the time, though i didn't know HOW i was going to justify that to or hide it from my hubby. Luckily, right out of the blue one morning recently, my prayers were answered: i just woke up to find a copy of it under my pillow ! ;-) (i guess now "I believe that miracles happen every day!!"
