My friend will be playing at SXSW...

Hey everyone,

As I said before, my friend is gonna play at this South By Southwest
festival. He's the guitarrist of Vandex's band. If someone is interested,
it'll be on March 18 (wednesday), 8:00 pm. I don't know Vandex very much,
but Eric (my friend) is a FANTASTIC guitarrist! Although he's just 20 years
old, he's known as one of the best guitarrists from our town. He plays in
the same SRV/Hendrix way that Henry does, so it's worthwhile!

I listened to their song on the SXSW site. I couldn't get to their Myspace page. I was at the Flamingo Cantina Thursday night and met a guy who was scouting bands for a record company in Miami. I can't remember the name of the company. I do remember him talking about hearing a guy playing guitar that had a Hendrix style. I bet this is who he was talking about. We were both listening to the bands from South America. I was surprised Vandex didn't sing in Portuguese. That would be cool! Maybe just not on that cut?

My favorite was Dr. Krapula. I wish them the best of luck!!
