Congratulations Sadflower! I know what a big fan you are and this recognition of your loving support for Los Lonely Boys is well deserved. Here's the write up from the site!
"Sadflower" stands in the spotlight for January 2009. She recalls when she first heard the name: Los Lonely Boys it was February 4, 2004 when her father asked her who they were after seeing them on the Pepsi Smash/Super Bowl special. A few weeks later - she watched the Heaven video with her mom which prompted her to buy their self-titled CD. In Sadflower's own words … I still can't explain it to this day but something very special happened to my family and I when The Boys came into our lives. One year later, Sadflower and her family experience their first Los Lonely Boys concert in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was then she said they realized the talent, passion and God given gift that LLB possessed. That concert led her to the Fan Forum and La Onda, Street Team where she has been an active member of both groups ever since. As you can see Sadflower's family has had a significant part of her becoming a dedicated fan but we can't forget that when Sadflower became a fan so did her son, he's a major Ringo Fan.
Sadflower is "thankful to have a band like Los Lonely Boys and La Onda in her life, getting us through the hard times, giving us strength and happiness every day". Sadflower's other interests include her 1967 Classic - Red Chevy Truck, art and nature.
Congratulations to Sadflower – our January 2009 Fan of the Month.
