Artists Line Up For Free Earth Day Concerts

This year's Earth Day will be celebrated with eight free simultaneous festivals in landmark parks across the U.S. on April 20th. Among the artists set to perform are the Roots, Warren Haynes, the Neville Brothers, Los Lonely Boys, Martin Sexton, Toots and the Maytals and others. The Earth Day Network and Green Apple Festival will feature all types of music artists, including blues legends to Latin pop stars, reggae acts, jam band favorites, hip-hop artists, R&B acts and rock bands.
The all-inclusive, interactive and free public events will take place at New York City's Central Park, Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo, Miami 's Bicentennial Park, Denver's City Park, Dallas'Fair Park, San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, and Los Angeles'Santa Monica Pier. The flagship event will be Earth Day 2008 on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
