I'm getting excited about it! Can't wait to hear what the Boys create. Sacred is a good record, but they were under a lot of pressure to get it done on the run. This time they have the opportunity to dig a little deeper. I hope they include a couple of songs that feature JoJo's vocals. I missed that on Sacred, except for "Iselia". It's like with the Beatles: it's fun to hear them harmonizing, but sometimes you just want to listen to "Yesterday".

I'm excited for the new CD too! It's gonna be interesting to hear since LLB said they want it more raw sounding this time, more 'Texican to the Bone' kinda thing. I'm also excited to see what they will name it and what kind of cover it will have. Promoting is gonna be a blast this summer and I hope to meet more of you fans during the ~2008 Los Lonely Boys Tour~. Orale, good times are ahead! :)

I bet the SuperBowl got the boys pumped up and full of energy. They have a super crew working with them - I can't imagine anything less than GOLD and FANTASTIC coming out of that collaboration. Hoping to hear some of the new material in March....

I love Texican Style from Sacred and anxiously look forward to more of the same on the new CD. July seems so far away and I hope there are no delays in getting the CD to a store near me. ;)

Remember if you pre-order the CD it will come in higher on the charts when it's released. I know we will have to pay more but we have to do this for our LLB. Que no? ;) ;) ;)

:) LOL, seeing that Beatle picture reminded me that yesterday, exactly 44 years ago, I was watching The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show. Ah, memories. Anyone watching them just knew they were special. I feel the same way about LLB. As for the new CD, it sounds like this time around they will be doing it more "THEIR WAY".

I enjoyed Sacred as a follow up CD & it was exciting to see them grow as musicians & try some new stuff. I agree with the above posts about them being under pressure to produce on the second CD after the huge success of the original & that was a tough act to follow. I can't wait to hear them get back to the Texican roots style, it's what I fell in love with & hit me in the heart & gut!

I couldn't agree more over 'Iselia'. It is a beautiful song. One of my favorites, actually. :o

The Official Press Release for the Boys' New Album

LOS LONELY BOYS RETURN TO STUDIO WITH NEW APPROACH TO A FAMILIAR SOUND.

Texican Trio Twists Up a Tasty Third

(Austin, TX)- Los Lonely Boys, the Grammy Award winning Texican trio from San Angelo, Texas have been in the studio recording the follow-up to their critically acclaimed 2006 release, "Sacred." The upcoming CD will mark their third label release since their 2004 self-titled debut on Or Music that introduced the mega-hit "Heaven" to music lovers everywhere.

A powerhouse recording team has been assembled and is now in the mixing phases of the recording process. The new LLB "Dream Team" includes Grammy award winning producer and acclaimed drummer, composer, and musical director Steve Jordan (Robert Cray, Buddy Guy, John Mayer, Herbie Hancock), along with engineers Niko Bolas (Neil Young, KISS, Don Henley, Godsmack, Sting, Keith Richards, Fiona Apple), Dave Natale (Rolling Stones, Motley Crue, Fleetwood Mac) and mixing engineer Manny Marroquin (Carlos Santana, Alicia Keys, Kanye West, T.I, Rihanna).

Recognizing the strength of LLB's live performance and knowing the impact that their live set adds to their music, Producer Steve Jordan has taken on this record using a slightly less conventional approach. The on-stage "magic" for which Los Lonely Boys is known has been added directly into the mix by simulating a live on-stage scenario where the boys feel the most comfortable and most creative. The recording took place at East Side Stages in Austin, Texas instead of the traditional studio setting. The live sound stage was complete with front-of-house setup to mirror that of the boys' live shows.

Manager Kevin Wommack of Loophole Entertainment remarks, "We're very excited. This album is going to be a big-sounding record with much more vibrancy than it would have had produced in the typical recording studio set-up."

This recording also marks a bold return to their roots for the brothers. Unlike their previous efforts, with the exception of producer and noted drummer Steve Jordon playing percussion on one track, no additional musicians were brought in to augment the Texican Trio's signature sound. Instead, the production team chose to showcase the Garza brothers on additional instruments and various techniques featuring bassist Jojo on vintage Wurlitzer piano and guitarist Henry's recreation of a Hammond B-3 organ running his signature strat through a Leslie cabinet and drummer Ringo filled out the album by laying additional percussion tracks throughout.

"This has been a tremendously fun experience for all of us. Ultimately, I hope that when people hear this, they will feel the same joy my brothers and I felt when we wrote these songs which came straight from our hearts," comments guitarist Henry Garza. Engineer Niko Bolas sums it all up with these few words, "ˇSimón, ese!" - It's all good!

The upcoming CD entitled "Forgiven" is scheduled for release July 1st, 2008

Can't wait to see what The Boys have in store for us this time! Either way it's gonna be a real treat

After hearing a few of the new songs at the show in San Angelo - I can hardly wait to hear the new CD. Gotta give it to Kevin and whoever else who put this group together to make sure that LLB does it "Their WAY". Orale!
