Cleaning out my suitcase and ran across these notes ... Tres if you're out there - thought it would help with your stats.

South Beach Club - Soundcheck - Lubbock, Texas Laurie and Claudia and I heard a bit of the soundcheck while waiting outside the venue. The most memorable song we heard was Majic Number and Love Her Madly (The Doors).

They did Home in sound check!! I love that song. It is a shame they don't do it in concert much. Maybe next year. It is also interesting to see how many SRV songs they play. They really love his music, it seems, and who can blame them.

I know Bela! I was surprised and then they sang the whole thing. We talk about the boys influences all the time - but I'm really surprised when they bust out with CCR, Stevie Wonder, The Doors. Love it! I'd love to hear JoJo get down with some Brothers Johnson. :cool:

The Boys have a huge repertoire of cover songs. They do play some covers live in concert once in a while. It always amazes me how diverse they are. My dream is to some day actually sit in on a sound check. I have never even heard part of one. Lots of good things to look forward to in 2008.
