I've checked this link daily and it doesn't show the map it self - just the dots. Not sure what's wrong - I went directly to frappr and searched and there we were.... For some reason links aren't working ...

But if you just go to frappr.com - search LONELYFANS - we'll come up....

Hey, Jeanette! I looked at the map after reading your post. It took awhile (but, then, I'm on dial up) and the map eventually showed up with the pins in place. It kept 'rotating' or moving around until I clicked on a state, then the movement stopped.

I didn't see your pin, though. At first, I didn't see mine either. I had to click on 'add me' and then my pin magically appeared. Who knows... :rolleyes:

It's fun and informative to see where everyone is located.

Well I sent a message to the "careteam" maybe that explains why it works now. I have high speed internet so that wasn't the problem ... just glad to know it's working now. *my dot shows up behind Ms. Brenda! :cool:

Bela, I'll managed to get everything, you'll see. When I start listening to something it's always like this haha. I've got a friend from California who comes here almost every year, so I'll ask him to bring all the cds/dvds for me next time he comes, since the band is not famous here, so it's a bit hard to find anything by them.

And just one question. There's a festival in Austin called "South by South West", which a friend of mine is going to play in march (I think...). Does anybody know if Los Lonely Boys are gonna play on it as well? They have played there before. It'd be boss, 'cause this friend's just started to listening to them as well and he's getting pretty addicted too.

Vico, let us know when and where your friends will be playing during SXBW. Some of the Austin people might surprise your friend and show up for his performance. There are lots of people on the forum from Austin. (Not me, unfortunately. I am an hour North of Boston, MA. By the way, I was born in Portugal. My first name is Ana Isabel.)

Oh thanks, Belle! Actually I had checked there before on the festival's site and as you said, they weren't there. I checked here on the tour's dates and couldn't find anything too. But this friend told me that the not-confirmed bands won't be on the site until they confirm their presence, so I was just wondering if someone here would have any "inside" information haha. And thanks for that compliment, it's good that you're not struggling to understand me ;D

Bela, once I know, I tell the dates and place here. My friend is playing guitar for a guy called Vandex. He told me it's confirmed but it's not on the site yet. But since he's going to Austin (lucky bastard!!!), you can easily find him by SRV's statue at anytime hahaha. And you're from Portugal? Huum... "Interessante". From which city?

The Boys HAVE played SXSW in the past. I think they are touring around that time, but then again, they do show up when you least expect them.

Welcome Vico! I'm from N. California and collect as much as I can of them. Be sure to get what is referred to "the Sofa King cd". . they boys made it years ago when they were still teenagers. it's very wondaful.

I hope you will get to see them live soon. It's an amazing experience.
